I have to let you know of my latest accidental find here in Bonn (well, actually in Hersel): a wonderful private house with wild boar wall decorations on it. There was also this (former?) German military lorry parked near the house, so I couldn't help but wonder if there ever was a perfect real life model for the major's apartment in Bonn, this ( Read more... )

This is a Greek novel published in 1938 called...Eroica. Apart from the title, there is no other similarity to the manga; it's a dramatic novel about love and friendship, but still I thought it was a funny coincidence and I'd like to share it. The author's name is Kosmas Politis, he is considered an acclaimed 20th century novelist in Greek ( Read more... )

I just saw a Norwegian movie called Headhunters. (Hodejegerne in Norwegian.)
